BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!!!!

Well, it's 4:44am Wed. morning. I've been up since 2:30 playing games and now on the "blog". So here's the update....Tired!! I've shopped with Tyler and Kayla, par-tayed with Tres, finally got back to church(Yeah!!!),Colored and re-colored my hair, had another cat scan, ate lunch with Mom, Jamie, Kaye, Kayla,Grands. Had dinner with Steve, Matt, Brett, Hank, Jamie, Tonnie, Kayla, Jen, all the grands.(NOT IN THAT ORDER) I miss Vickie and Cookie. I'll have to do something about that. Oh, and let's not forget football. ohoooo---I almost sinned.

I have come to realize that I am not as well versed,spoken or otherwise sharp as Jamie on this here blogging thing. But, I said I would try and by-golly I,m not gonna be defeated.

I went shopping with Kayla and Tyler on Monday and we had a great time. We started out by eating lunch at the Olive Garden with Jamie, Tres and Bry and it was fun.
Tyler is just adorable(as are all of my grands). I hop Jamie and Hank will post one of the pics from that lunch. And we really shopped til we dropped. It was great!!

Tres b'day party was at my house on Sat. and it was fun.Then the ball game happened and all was almost spoiled, but as Jamie said that sun rose the next day anyway.

OH Yeah, I ran into an old and wonderful friend while shopping with Kayla. Connie Kessler and we were happy to see each other and catch up a little and we are not gonna let so much time pass from now on. Praise the Lord!! I've really missed Connie and Cecil. There have not been to many days that I haven't spoken of them or thought of them. They are two people that I do not ever intend to forget. They made and will continue to make a deep impact on my life.. A wonderful Christ-like, big difference kinda, impact.

Third times a charm

Well, I'm back. I've been venturing out and reading blogs and my spaces, but I haven't figured out how to post comments yet. So, Vickie, I love your blog and I LOVE your new do. It's da boom!! Soon, I'll be a pro at this like you guys. Well, maybe not exactly but I'll get it a try.

I went back to the doctor Thursday and he said that I may have to have a little more surgery. He said that I may still have a small piece of the mass deep down. But the good news is that it would be a day thing. But, first I have to have another cat scan on Sept. 20th, then see the doc. again. He said that he would go thru my ribs with a tiny camera and pull the rest out that way. It's just that he said he didn't want to leave any to grow and do any damage. SOoooo, me either. and here we go.

I'm just glad that it's simpler. You should have seen my face when he said he may have to do more surgery...hoo-hoo. my face hit the floor...he saw it and said...Not the same way..boy was I releived..
I'm also starting to eat better and get in shape because I NEVER want to have any form of "crack open the old sternum" surgery again. So, healthy here I come.
